The Process

1

ILLUSTRATION

This project was first illustrated using Adobe Illustrator, once designed the layers were then deconstructed into templates. These templates acted as a guide for the paper art layering process.

Materials

Japanese origami paper, crepe paper, tooth picks, canvas and balsa wood were combined to create this 3D illustration. Allowing shadows to form between the layers of paper was crutial in the construction to later showcase the depth of the craft.
